FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Our Women’s Destiny Mission is led by dynamic Jewish educators from North America & Israel. The trip leaders will guide , inspire and allow you to maximize your experience every step of the way. We will also be accompanied by licensed Israeli tour guides, fluent in English who will share their knowledge and passion for Jewish history, culture, environment and landscapes of Israel. As an AISH Destiny trip we will also have access to the world renowned AISH educators based in Jerusalem. The entire itinerary is planned with our tour provider GoInspire- Israel trip innovators. For over 25 years, they have delivered powerful, transformational Israel experiences for many hundreds of groups.

Travelers on the Destiny Women’s Mission arrive with varying degrees of Jewish affiliation. Aish’s educational philosophy is that Judaism is not all or nothing; it is a journey where every step counts, to be pursued according to one’s own pace and interest. Mitzvot (commandments) are not rituals but opportunities for personal growth to be studied and understood. We learn the Torah’s wisdom to enrich our own lives and to share these ideas with all humanity. Aish HaTorah is a halachic organization so Shabbat will be observed in public and all meals are kosher.

Our goal is for you to return home with a sense of connection, friendship and community. Our leaders and guides will be aiming to create a sense of unity amongst the participants. There are some free evenings and lunches with time for personal exploration. For those with many friends and relatives in Israel we suggest either coming early or extending your trip so you have ample time to visit with them. We can help with booking additional hotel nights and airport transfers.

Be sure to note any special dietary needs as part of your registration. We will coordinate with our hotel and restaurant meal providers to arrange special accommodations as necessary. We make a good faith effort to accommodate food allergy considerations however, we cannot make absolute guarantees on behalf of our meal providing partners.

We will be collecting $75 per person to be divided between the driver, guide and support staff.

All participants are expected to book their own flights to and from Israel. The only international airport in Israel is “Ben Gurion” (airport code: TLV). Our tour company Go Inspire can help you book your flights as well and we recommend this option. Arrival in Israel: We will depart together from the airport at 1130am on Monday 31st Jan and ask everyone arranges thier flights to arrive by that time. Anyone who arrives in Israel before that date shoudl arrange their own transport to the airport by 1130am to depart with us. Travelers arriving at Ben Gurion Airport after 11:00 am on the first day of the program will likely miss the welcome dinner and programming this evening and will be responsible for their own transportation to the hotel in the North of Israel. We do not recommend it!  TRAVEL FROM ISRAEL: At the end of the program participants will be escorted back to Ben Gurion Airport in time for overnight flights departing between 11:30pm and 1:00 am the next day. No hotel is included this evening unless arranged separately. 

Signing-up for travel insurance is mandatory in order to protect your investment and plan for the unexpected. Our tour company GoInspire can assist with purchasing an insurance plan through a third party provider.

Check to make sure that you know where your passport is and that it is not expired or about to expire. Your passport must be valid for at least six months from the date you depart from Israel. If your passport expires within this period please start the renewal process today. Many airlines will deny you boarding if your passport is not valid according to this policy. If you are traveling to Israel on a USA, Canadian or European Union member country passport a visa is not needed to enter Israel. If you are traveling on a passport from another country you may need a visa to enter Israel. If needed, our office is able to provide you with a program participation letter.

Our number one goal is your safety. Our trip is registered with the Moked Teva-the central hotline and control centre to ensure the safety and security of hikers, tourist groups, school groups, and others while in the field, anywhere in Israel. Moked Teva is operational 24/7, making continual assessments, issuing up-to-the-minute advice and fielding calls on trip coordination and route safety, and monitoring status reports from the field. The hotline is in direct contact with search and rescue officials, security personnel and safety and wildlife authorities. All activities are subject to daily approval by Moked Teva. If a particular location is not signed off, the itinerary will be amended and groups will take up an alternative activity in an approved place.

We look forward to an incredible program without restrictions, at the same time, your health and safety is our primary concern. Everyone is impacted by COVID in some respect. We are doing everything we can to ensure we can run this trip in safety and good health. Our tour provider is in constant contact with the Israeli Ministry of Health and we will be following all government guidelines. Of course we know these guidelines can change. This could result in changes to our planned itinerary or more significant changes.  We therefore request everyone purchases travel insurance that covers significant changes due to COVID, including postponement, requirement to quarantine and flight changes. (The health insurance included in the package with the tour provider includes medical coverage for COVID). As of November 1st, entry for vaccinated or recovered tourists is permitted without quarantine as per this government directive.

The price of $2499 includes transfers from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport at the end of the program, all accommodations, food, activities, entertainment, entry to sites and access to some of the best Jewish educators in the world. Spa treatments at the Setai Hotel and food and entertainment on free nights are not included. Flights, COVID testing, gratuities and travel insurance are also not included. The standard accommodation is a shared room, if you would like a single room their is a supplement of $975 to pay. Other upgrades are also available upon request.
