Job Title: Program Coordinator - United Against Antisemitism

Our mission is to inspire Jews around the world to connect with their heritage and spirituality through innovative and engaging digital experiences.   Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and organized Program Coordinator to support the development and execution of United Against Antisemitism, a newly funded antisemitism support initiative in our online community, Aish+. This individual will play a pivotal role in creating and managing the program, engaging with community members, and ensuring the success of the initiative. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Jewish identity, combating antisemitism, and empowering young Jews to take action.   The Role: Community Development & Engagement:
  • Design & develop the United Against Antisemitism community for young Jews (18-32)
  • Support the Aish+ Team in fostering an active and supportive community environment within the Aish+ platform.
  • Engage with community members, addressing their questions, concerns, and feedback promptly.
  • Help organize and facilitate online events, including guest speaker sessions, discussion forums, and live Q&A sessions.
  • Monitor discussion forums, ensuring that conversations remain respectful, on-topic, and supportive.
Develop and Execute the Ambassador Program:
  • Support the design and implementation of a comprehensive ambassador program aimed at empowering young Jews (18-32) to take an active role in combating antisemitism.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train ambassadors from within the Aish+ community and partner organizations.
  • Establish clear goals, roles, and responsibilities for ambassadors to maximize their impact within the community.
  • Create and manage communication channels to keep ambassadors engaged, informed, and motivated.
  • Develop incentive structures to reward active and effective ambassadors.
Content and Resource Management:
  • Assist in the creation, curation, and distribution of educational content related to antisemitism, Jewish identity, and community action.
  • Maintain and update the Resource Library with relevant articles, guides, videos, and tools.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to ensure the platform is populated with timely and relevant content.
Operational Support:
  • Coordinate logistics for online events, including scheduling, promotion, and technical setup.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing community engagement data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Support the development and execution of marketing initiatives to promote the platform and increase user engagement.
  Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using online community platforms and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote environment.
  • Passionate about Jewish identity, combating antisemitism, and community empowerment.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in community management, program coordination, or a related field is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience design, project management, and automation tools like Zapier, Figma, and ActiveCampaign. They will also be adept at conducting user testing and surveys to continuously improve our digital offerings.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of user experiences across Aish’s digital experiences including the creation of user journey maps and user flows.
  • Project manage the implementation of new digital initiatives from conception to launch, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Contribute to ideation and research of Aish’s digital experiences.
  • Develop and manage cross-channel user experience strategies that align with our organizational goals.
  • Implement and optimize automation user flows in WordPress and Circle.so as well as through Zapier, ActiveCampaign, and other platforms to enhance user engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct user testing and surveys to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, education, and development, to ensure cohesive and effective user experiences.
  • Analyze user data and behavior to inform design decisions and improve user journeys.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design, automation, and digital strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UX design and project management.
  • Curious, love to learn, and learn quickly with a willingness to fail and improve.
  • Proficiency in using UX design tools (Figma preferred).
  • Experience with automation using Zapier, ActiveCampaign, implementing webhooks, tracking pixels, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with user testing and survey methodologies.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Title: Financial Controller

 

Location: Hybrid role with office location in the Old City of Jerusalem

Position Summary: Aish, a not for profit located in the Old City of Jerusalem, with a current annual budget of $25m, is looking to hire a Financial Controller to oversee the financial activities of the organization, for both its Israel and US operations, including accounting, financial reporting and compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements.
    • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including monitoring accounting transactions and adjustments.
    • Reviewing monthly and annual business performance, including the review and monitoring all accounting transactions and adjustments (corrections, accruals, deferrals and provisions) & ensuring appropriate use of these in line with accounting rules.
  1. Accounting Operations:
    • Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
    • Review and approve salaries for Israel and the United States.
    • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
    • Implement and maintain robust internal controls.
  1. Cash Management:

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Certified Public Accountant/Chartered Accountant/or equivalent – preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role and 2 as a Financial Controller.
  • Experience of working in a busy team with the ability to work flexibly in response to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Knowledge of Priority preferred but not required

JOB SUMMARY:

The Executive Director, North American Friends of Aish, is a key member of the Aish Global Executive and is responsible for securing the annual budget for Aish Global. This position will oversee all fundraising activities in North America, including personal solicitation of major gifts for Aish, relationship management, and building/managing a team of development professionals throughout North America.   The Executive Director, North American Friends of Aish will report directly to the CEO.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build relationships with current donors and prospects to solicit new and grow current gifts by
    • Working with respected, motivated, non-fundraising Aish global staff,
    • Leveraging our database of 60,000+ donors, and
    • Engaging personal networks / creative new leads
  • Create and implement a strategy to scale the current fundraising model, to include expansion to key cities in North This includes hiring, training and managing all necessary personnel.
  • Develop an infrastructure of 10-15 lay leaders who actively engage in prospecting, stewarding, soliciting and thanking donors in the Tri-State
  • Launch minor and major scale events for parents, alumni and supporters, and develop a plan to steward attendees who are capable of increased
  • Work closely with the Israel office to ensure seamless integration of missions and trips, so as to facilitate increased gifts upon the donors’ return from
  • Further develop relationships with current partner foundations (including Federations and Foundations) to identify increased funding
 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fifteen years of proven successes securing six and seven figure gifts in a non profit environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, oral and written
  • A “results” focus and willingness to roll-up sleeves to do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, lead and collaborate effectively with volunteer leaders
  • A college degree, with a preference for master’s degree
  • Ability to work with colleagues in IST time zone, including early mornings, late evening, occasional weekends and periodic
