Position: IT Support Technician

Organization: Aish Location: Jerusalem, Israel Schedule: Full-time, on-site, five days a week Overview: Aish is seeking a skilled and reliable IT Support Technician to assist in maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure and providing technical support to staff. This role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, setting up new devices, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The ideal candidate will have some prior IT experience, a strong problem-solving mindset, and the ability to handle day-to-day technical challenges efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting
    • Respond to IT support requests from staff, providing timely and effective resolutions.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues independently or escalate when needed.
    • Support audiovisual equipment and IT setups for meetings and events at the Aish World Center.
 
  • System & User Management
    • Assist with user account setup and management.
    • Install, configure, and update computers, software, printers, and peripherals.
    • Maintain security best practices, including password management and basic cybersecurity protocols.
 
  • Device & Asset Management
    • Set up and configure new laptops, desktops, and mobile devices for employees.
    • Track and manage IT inventory, ensuring equipment is accounted for and functional.
    • Perform basic hardware maintenance and repairs as needed.
 

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support, technical troubleshooting, or a related role.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack administration is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently while following established IT processes.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to assist non-technical users.
  • Proficiency in Hebrew and English (spoken and written).
  • Passion for technology and a commitment to supporting the Jewish community.

Additional Information:

This role provides an opportunity for hands-on learning and growth in IT support. On-the-job training will be provided to enhance skills in system administration, troubleshooting, and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

Studio Setup and Management

  • Ensure all studio equipment is operational, updated, and optimized for diverse production needs.
Content Production and Direction
  • Plan and execute end-to-end podcast production, including script outlines, storyboarding, filming, and editing.
  • Direct multi-camera video productions for live streaming events, documentaries, corporate videos, VIP visitor projects, and promotional campaigns.
  • Lead photography efforts, capturing high-quality still images for events, campaigns, and multimedia content.
