Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and visionary Production Director to lead the creation and execution of high-quality video, audio, and photographic content. This role requires a strategic thinker and hands-on professional with expertise in shooting, editing, photography, and crafting dynamic content for various platforms, including podcasts, broadcast media, and large-scale live streaming events. The ideal candidate will be responsible for studio setup and maintenance, production management, and content strategy, ensuring technical excellence and creative innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Studio Setup and Management
  • Oversee the design, setup, and maintenance of a state-of-the-art podcasting and broadcasting studio.
  • Ensure all studio equipment is operational, updated, and optimized for diverse production needs.
Content Production and Direction
  • Plan and execute end-to-end podcast production, including script outlines, storyboarding, filming, and editing.
  • Direct multi-camera video productions for live streaming events, documentaries, corporate videos, VIP visitor projects, and promotional campaigns.
  • Lead photography efforts, capturing high-quality still images for events, campaigns, and multimedia content.
  • Manage audio production, including sound design, mixing, and editing, to deliver exceptional sound quality.
  • Operate as Director of Photography (DP) on shoots, ensuring cinematic quality and effective lighting design.
  • Utilize drones for aerial videography and photography to enhance production value.
Editing and Post-Production
  • Edit long-form and short-form content, including full-length podcasts, micros, trailers, teasers, and promotional videos.
  • Develop and refine visual and audio storytelling techniques to maximize engagement.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of polished, professional content aligned with brand standards.
Content Development and Strategy
  • Collaborate with creative teams to conceptualize and storyboard projects, aligning them with organizational goals.
  • Develop innovative content strategies to engage audiences across podcasts, live events, and multimedia platforms.
  • Lead scripting and outlining processes to create compelling narratives.
Event Production
  • Oversee the production of large-scale live streaming events, ensuring seamless execution from pre-production to broadcast.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for event planning, technical setup, and real-time troubleshooting.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
  • Partner with the Production Manager to align on project priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Provide technical and creative guidance to team members, fostering collaboration and maintaining high standards of performance.

Required Experience

  • Proven expertise in studio setup and ongoing management for film, podcasting, or soundstage environments.
  • Professional-level photography skills with experience in event and promotional photography.
  • Skilled DP/cinematographer and camera operator with advanced knowledge of lighting and framing.
  • Strong sound technician with expertise in mixing and audio design for various formats.
  • Advanced editing experience using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive pre- and post-production expertise, including producing and coordination.
  • Certified drone operator with aerial videography/photography experience.
  • Proficiency in storyboarding and scripting outlines.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong understanding of content development and audience engagement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in film, media production, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience producing podcasts, documentaries, corporate videos, multi-camera event videos, and professional photography.
  • Background in live streaming and managing high-profile global events.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

The ideal candidate will ensure that all aspects of production run smoothly, from pre-production to final delivery, while managing guest booking, content development and distribution, and promotional efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management
  • Oversee all stages of podcast and broadcast production, including pre-production, recording, editing, and distribution.
  • Manage production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling content ideas and formats.
  • Maintain equipment and studio readiness
Producer Duties
  • Lead content planning sessions and manage storyboarding processes.
  • Supervise the creation of scripts, show outlines, research packets and other production documents.
  • Manage recording sessions, providing creative and editorial guidance to hosts and guests.
  • Maintain quality control standards for audio and video content.
Guest Bookings
  • Identify and secure high-profile and relevant guests for podcasts and broadcast programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with talent, publicists, and agencies.
  • Handle guest logistics, including scheduling, contracts, and travel arrangements.
  • Act as the primary liaison for guests, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
Content Distribution:
  • Uploading pillar content (full podcast episodes) to podcast platforms with optimized metadata and descriptions.
  • Disseminating micro-content and promotional assets (short clips, audiograms, teaser trailers) across social media platforms.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and schedules for episodes/projects.
  • Monitoring analytics on podcast platforms and social media to track performance and engagement.
Administrative and Operational Support
  • Track budgets and expenses for productions.
  • Maintain accurate records of production timelines and deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
  • Implement workflows and tools to improve production efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in podcast or broadcast production, with a focus on producing and guest booking.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with talent and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience design, project management, and automation tools like Zapier, Figma, and ActiveCampaign. They will also be adept at conducting user testing and surveys to continuously improve our digital offerings.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of user experiences across Aish’s digital experiences including the creation of user journey maps and user flows.
  • Project manage the implementation of new digital initiatives from conception to launch, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Contribute to ideation and research of Aish’s digital experiences.
  • Develop and manage cross-channel user experience strategies that align with our organizational goals.
  • Implement and optimize automation user flows in WordPress and Circle.so as well as through Zapier, ActiveCampaign, and other platforms to enhance user engagement and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct user testing and surveys to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
