Position: IT Support Specialist
Organization: Aish
Location: Jerusalem, Israel
Schedule: Full-time, on-site, five days a week
Overview:
Aish is seeking a technically proficient and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT department. This role offers the opportunity to engage with a diverse array of hardware, software, and emerging technologies within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess foundational experience in technical support and configuration, a passion for technology, and a commitment to supporting the Jewish community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the IT Director in managing daily IT operations, networks, and computer systems.
- Respond promptly to service issues and requests, including all audiovisual needs at the Aish World Center.
- Provide technical support across the organization, both in person and remotely, to staff located domestically and internationally.
- Manage user accounts for platforms such as Google Workspace, Active Directory, Zoom, and Slack.
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Prepare new devices and facilitate the onboarding of new employees.
- Maintain an inventory of equipment, hardware, and software.
- Additional projects as they come up
Qualifications:
- Working technical knowledge of computers, software, hardware, and peripherals.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and the capacity to work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in both Hebrew and English.
- A passion for technology and a dedication to supporting the Jewish community.
